Wild Horse Adventure Tours
Jan Priddy's art is displayed at Wild Horse Adventure Tours in Corolla NC. The Hummer Tours offer guided tours to see the wild horses on the 4x4 beaches of Corova. Jan has captured thousands of photographs of the horses and makes paintings from the photographs. Her love of the wild horses dates back over 30 years ago when the horses roamed freely in Whalehead Beach and Corolla. They are now protected on the 4x4 area in Corova.
Jan visited the Corolla Wildhorse Fund at the farm in Grandy. Wild horses are brought to the farm to be rehabilitated and are not returned to the wild as they need to be adopted by people. Once they have interactions with humans, they are not allowed back in the wild.
